Red face Latest JK Rowling book does not convert
I got the leatest Potter book (british library) in .epub.

It will stop converting at 47% either trying to get à .rtf or e .pdf conversion (after 5 or 6 hours)

There are 200+ pages and images in it. I tried to remove some of it and get very partial results.

Any idea ?

Where did you buy it from? Could it perhaps be a fixed layout ePub? They can't be converted.

It is a 'free' epub from usually reliable news source. It will display in Calibre, with bad formatting, but will not convert to rtf or pdf, always getting stuck at 47¨%.
Well I don't care much about it anyway.

If it's the "A Journey Through a History of Magic" exhibition catalogue, you can get it via the Pottermore site - also very reliable

Why do you want to convert to RTF and/or PDF? Is this a legit copy you have?

NO. Thanks. Anyway, the only way to read an epub for me is with Calibre. Seing the content, I would NOT buy this book anyway. I am juste surprised that it cannot be converted.

One of the three fixed layout epub books I've purchased (actually for my daughter ). And the only one that I needed to use the .fxl.kepub.epub extension to have look half decent on her Kobo ereader.
