PDF - relation between "line un-wrapping factor" and "unwrap line" (heuristic proc.)

Hello.

Today I am converting some pdf's to epub with good (not great, but fully readable) results. I tried different settings for both "line un-wrapping factor" and "unwrap line" from heuristic tab and it seems both options have influence on the output file. It seems that both do the same (??) but it seems that I am getting best results when using both... Anyone can explain if there is any difference between those two and how they are related to each other?

They use different algorithms under the hood. The first is specific to PDF the second is general to any book.
