just introducing myself - i'm andréa - in b.c. - and after making a valiant effort to resurrect my hprx3115, i have put the sony505 on hold...

honestly - i really did my best - and wanted to be able to put the hp to good use - but with the freakishly difficult vista sync compatibility issue, the laughably arrogant "c lit" (nice) application, the weird tiny reader (purchased at full price) that wouldn't sync through vista (oops) and then the realization that the rx battery was hooped - i could scarcely spend another minute trying. for an intelligent, but inexperienced (and somewhat impatient), user - i think i did my best.

now...as for the ebooks that i've already purchased (to read on my laptop) - wondering if i can convert them (maybe to pdf then to the sony? but i hear you can't zoom so that will probably suck). don't worry about replying to this question...just thinking out loud - besides, most of you are quick to point out that answers to most questions lie somewhere within the forums

ok...so as soon as baby wakes up - we're off to spend $300!!

Welcome to the forum. Your existing ebooks "may" be able to be converted depending on what format they're in & whether they are DRMed or not. You may want to check out the WIKI here at MR for conversion programs. Good luck.
