Silent OTA update. Jailbreak lost in KT3(B)

Hello. I've been searching for a solution but I haven't found one. Is there any way to recover the jailbreak? I just found my Kindle got updated to 5.8.10 and can't start KUAL.

I've wanted to reinstall the jailbreak but I don't want to reset my device.

I don't know what to do.

And what makes you think you have "lost the jailbreak" ?
The jailbreak has nothing to do with running applications, it only allows you to install our update_*.bin format packages.

What your problem is, see current jail break, first post:

These update_*.bin package name format packages must be re-installed after each firmware update.
The MrPI application can handle multiple update_*.bin packages at the same time, just put them all in /mrpackages and trigger MrPI.

Do as Cinisajoy above posted, in the order she posted them.

Since you have an 8th generation device, you have to use the booklet form of KUAL.
Which is in an update_*.bin name format package.

Since you can't run MrPI from KUAL (not when KUAL will not run), you have to use the searchbar command to trigger MrPI:
;log mrpi
after you put the KUAL booklet update file in /mrpackages.

Yes. I did all that. Thank you. Everything is back to normal. I forgot I had to reinstall everything and I panicked.

That will give everybody two steps to ignore and two spoilers not to open.

Just for the people who think they are done, two steps before the end of the directions.

lol I know. I feel like an idiot right now. I read the instructions at least 3 times before attempting to jailbreak and now it's like I didn't read them at all

Darling, Google square dance. It is done with 4 couples or 8 people.
I have never done it myself.
Only 2 step, the waltz (always with guys that at the time were old enough to be your father) and the cotton eye joe.
