Amazon Fire HD 8 (Seventh Generation) gets confused
When I connect the Fire to my laptop running calibre, Calibre shows the Fire and it's storage card. I have stored all my books on the storage card. Clicking the storage card icon shows the following for a book title:
CR!S0Q3Z9GYBH0GV71VP7PHXHYPXBGS There are 300 entries on the list minus a few that were already listed in Calibre from version 1.something. Each entry is different. I only have about 270 or so books. Any idea how to make these all readable? JC |

Nowadays amazon no longer sends useable files to their devices. The best way to get access to your amazon purchases is to download them from the My Content page on amazon, add them to calibre and then send them to the device.
