KCC inverted colors

Hi guys,

I'm trying to convert a very big pdf book (the complete Calvin & Hobbes) for my Paperwhite 2 with Kindle Comic Converter and it seems to fail, even if it says "done".

First problem is that somehow it inverts colors: now background is black and draws are white. And second the final book is missing the first two pages.

Any idea?

P.S. The Paperwhite has no problems opening the PDF, but of course it's not a good format for reading.

Hmmm... It seems there's some problem with PDF. All color images are extracted as negative, even with other utilities.

But the PDF itself displays correctly? That's very odd. I'd suggest asking for assistance from the store you bought the PDF from.

It might be intentional.
Something to discourage 'borrowing' of the art work.

Yes, I guess so.
I own the Calvin & Hobbes comics, but of course it's not practical to bring them around.
And of course I'm too lazy to scan all the 1300+ pages by myself.
So I downloaded this PDF somewhere.
And yes, the PDF opens just good. Only color comics come out reversed. Not a big problem as I inverted the colors with an image editor.
Still, I think Kindle isn't the best solution for comics, so I guess I'll keep reading that PDF on my tablet.

Kindle is not the best solution for PDF. Comic or otherwise.

That tells the entire story right there, you did not include the word: 'bought'.
