Question about Calibre and temporary files

Which file systems on my computer should I opt out of deleting when doing computer clean-up tasks? I have software that wants to delete temporary files and temporary internet files but anytime I do that Calibre gets wonky. A list of folders or file systems to avoid changing or removing would be helpful. Also, if anyone were in a generous mood, a reason why said files shouldn't be deleted would be great.... |

You should never delete temporary files while you have programs running. Running programs are responsible for cleaning up their own temporary files when they are no longer needed. Temporary file cleaning should happen only at OS startup or shutdown. |
