Column coloring
I know that column coloring adds different colors to the text based on rules. Is there a way to color the background of the column instead and leave the color of the text alone?

@moredrowsy - not that I know of.
Have a look at the Job Spy optional plugin, DaltonST recently added a raft of colouring features - not sure if they're rules based. BR |

I did this with the plugin Jobs Spy. You have to go to 'Customized Job Spy > GUI Colors: Library View, Tag Browser, Book Details' to choose the colors you want, and click 'Apply Selected Colors'. Under that you have to enable 'The Library View Column/Row Headings should have this background color (not the default greyish color)?'. A restart is required.
