The Tragedy of Two Authors
For four years, James and Melissa Arthurson have been happily married. They've enjoyed writing fiction together for their fans. They even adopted a boy named Jason who wants to become a famous fantasy author. They were an ideal writing family.
On his birthday, James is tasked by his boss to conduct an autograph session in Indianapolis, Indiana. While it's not unusual for James to conduct autograph sessions, it is unusual for it to happen while away from his wife and adopted son. Nevertheless, he fulfills his duties as a famous author in this endeavor. Upon returning home to San Antonio, Texas, James witnesses something shocking.
