Hi,
Been lurking for sometime, but finally registered as I now have my sticky hands on UK Sony Reader PRS 505.

Have been reading ebooks for years on multitudes of multi-purpose devices, and decided to knuckle down and get a dedicated reader, with a decent screen.

(Laptop's and smartphones just arent that convenient when travelling )

Currently in process of reconverting everything from assorted formats to Reader-able ones. It might be a long job.

Don't intend to give up the RealBooks ( I'm sitting in my *library* posting this now ) this just means I can have duplicate hoardes of reading matter.

System spec - iMac running tiger 10.4.11 / ibook running panther 10.3.9
Calibre 0.4.83 installed.
(I *could* borrow a PC off the boyfriend if I have to, but I'd rather not )

Trying to get to grips with Calibre, and I'd probably use that on windows anyway, cause I find sony tend to fall down with their software rather badly as a matter of course.

Likes to read ? Sci-fi / fantasy / historical for the most part.
