kindle oasis

hi guys,
I'd like to find out if the new kindle oasis will be compatible with calibre running in my mac OS sierra since calibre can't anymore conect with itunes and i'm fed up of reading in my ipad.
calibre, of course is still able to convert ebooks and loads of other wonderful features. the problem is that mac sierra doesn't work via itunes with books, only thru icloud drive which is a mess.

so, i am thinking of treating myself with the new kindle oasis but before buying it i'd like to know if i'll be able to transfer my books (no drm) from calibre 2.85 running in mac OS Sierra 10.12.5.

please, if anyone knows about this, be a gentle soul and help me!

Yes, Calibre is compatible with the Oasis.

Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 works just fine with Calibre. I don't have the latest version of Calibre--I'm running version 2.82--but there isn't anything I know of of the later version that would interfere with transferring your books.

The Oasis is a great reader. I've had mine since the Oasis was introduced and it's the best reader I've owned, and I've owned many of the Kindles. So go for it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
