Legionnaire from Texas by the late British author Gordon Landsborough (Wikipedia, Fantastic Fiction), a prolific and pioneering multi-genre pulp fiction writer and publisher, is the 1st novel in his The Texas Legionnaire series of vintage retro-historical quasi-military action adventure thrillers starring a former French Foreign Legion member from Texas turned mercenary in the post-WWII years, this one taking place in French colonial North Africa wherein the protagonist, a misfit to the Legion who winds up going his own way, discovers a chance to bring a villainous ex-Nazi general to justice, as you do, free for a limited time courtesy of publisher Endeavour Press.

This was originally published in 1952 by Hamilton & Co using the pseudonym Mike M'Cracken. Normally we get Landsborough's pulp westerns from Pioneering Press, but if you've been enjoying those and like his writing, you might want to give this one a try.
