Unhappy about newest version of calibre
I was wondering if anyone might tell me how I might let the creator know that I am not happy with the new version of the software? What I don't like about it is that when I got to look at a author's books; not only do that author's books show, but all books in the calibre library show. I liked it where only the books by that author showed. Is there a way to fix that?

In the upper right hand corner of Calibre look for the icon comprised of four blue horizontal lines. Click on it if it doesn't have a red line diagonal through it.

I don't believe your issue is related to a Calibre update.

@copyrite - for a couple of years at least, the blues bar button won't be there unless one puts it there.

To clarify; this is not happening while searching this is just looking through the author option on the left side to see if I have a certain book.

And to Copyrite's post; I don't have the button in the upper right corner of the newest version.

That is searching - look at the search bar, it'll be green with a search term referencing the authors column

Also see my my prior post (#3) and read the sticky thread I gave you.

To clarify, you are doing a search by author. Follow the link BR directed you to and all will be fine.
