Aura One light turns off
I have some some discussion of the Aura One light suddenly diminishing to nearly off while reading when set to Auto. I cannot find the discussion and any resolution to the problem. I am running 4.3.8945. It doesn't seem to want to update to the latest firmware.

I love my Aura One, but the auto adjusting light feature not so much. I ended up turning it off and just adjust manually. It's too bad--the auto adjusting light feature works great on my Voyage.

I found the automatic adjustment was too sensitive and the screen brightness was always adjusting itself. I switched it off and I'm much happier now I can set to a level and it stays there. |

I have manually updated to 4.3.8966(?) and I will see how it goes.

Like others mentioned, I just turn off the auto-adjust feature because it isn't fun to have it drop to 0% when you are reading in the dark! |

sadly new Kobo firmware releases don't appear to be very good at fixing bugs going by what i've read on this forum, oh well never mind i hope you have better luck with the next one that come's along relatively soon i would imagine.

I tried unticking "Automatically turn off light in bright sunlight" in "Energy saving and privacy" within the settings menu and the problem hasn't reoccurred....yet. (I'm also running firmware 4.3.8945) |
