Changing storage folder
I purchased the app today. I would like to change the default storage folder. However when I try to do it, all I get is a box with a folder called 'recent' and no option any where to change the folder. Unlike the instructions, there are no 3 vertical lines on left. Thee are 3 lines on top right which only give option for enable/disable sd card.
Thanks for your help Peeam |

The lines on the left are horizontal, not vertical. You need to "enable" the SD card.
These images show what I see. |

Thanks Charles. Very helpful with the pictures.
My challenge is that in the left box under 'Recent', no drives are shown. I am using samsung galaxy tab s. Wonder if this has got something to the drives being locked. |

Did you "enable" the SD card in the right-hand menu?

I received my Onyx Boox c67ml carta 2. Have installed a 32 g micro_sd. Also installed CC; the c67ml is running Android 4.2.2.
Problem is that trying to do the "enable sd" as per the pics here, there is no "SD card" selection; don't know if it is a problem with 4.2.2, Jelly Bean. When I just "select" the line item for the default folder, I get prompted for cancel, new folder or "go to folder". When I select "go to folder" I get prompted for the path to the folder, which I enter & I get an "unable to open" response. The path I entered is "/mnt/extsd/ebooks" and "/external_sd/ebooks". I have not checked the FAQ/Doc again but don't know if CC is able/allowed to write to the SD card in 4.2.2. Thought I read that someone did have the books in the SD card in one of the forums. |

CC can use SD cards in Android 4.2. The best way to choose the folder on the SD card is to use "go to folder" to go to "/" (the root) then navigate down from there. This avoids spelling errors and other android strangenesses related to how SD cards are mounted. In your case you would go to "/", navigate to "mnt", navigate to the SD card (whatever it is named), then to the folder. |

I even had moved CC to the SD card! Now have the books loaded & the navigating from "/", I found that the path was "/mnt/external_SD/ebooks". Also hate it when a folder has 2 different names under different apps as per your description of "strangeness" in how SD cards are mounted or named. |
