Reset reading stats?

Just wondering--is there an easy way to reset reading stats on my Kobo Aura 1 without doing a factory reset?

Since I received the Aura 1 in early January, my reading stats have been wildly off--showing that I've read a total of 325 hours--(40 or 50 is more accurate).

I recently updated the firmware, and it seems like the reading stats being recorded are more accurate. I'd like to reset the counters to zero, but don't really want to go through the hassle of doing a factory reset.

Yes, I do it after every charge. Toggling the reading stats off and back on will reset them.

Well--reset my reading stats and it still is mis-reporting. Shows I've read for a total of 9 hours since resetting and probably has been an hour and a half at most. This is after an update to firmware 4.2.8432 and resetting the reading stats.

Since GeoffR has put together patches for firmware 4.38842 including a patch to disable the new home page when I get time I'll try updating to that and see if that fixes my problem. (Thank you very much Geoff!)

4.3.8842 has issues with the reading stats - I actually went back to 4.2.8432 because of that and it looks like it is working OK on my Aura 6".

When I went back, it looked like it had been recorded correctly in the database, but just was not showing correctly on the device. That made me think that the next update could correct things and the reading during the time on the 4.3.8842 will be corrected.
