Question * Date of publication of books below 100 A.C

Regards:

I have a few books that I would like to place on the date of publication a date below 100 A.C., authors such as Seneca, Philippicas, Marco Tulio Cicero ...

Is there any workaround or trick to set the date?

No the date field only goes upto 100 AD. You can use a secondary column via Preferences->Add your own column make it if type integer since for books that old a year should suffice.

It is an honor to have been answered by you, Mr. Goyal. Your Team and you have created a great application. I take this opportunity to ask you why the function I commented in the previous post about the lower limit date fields is not implemented in Calibre?

There are hundreds of written works that were published before the year 100 A.C., I put for example "De Natura Deorum" of the Roman orator Cicero written in the year 45 B.C.

Thanks for your attention.

There are technical reasons for it -- basically various bits of software calibre relies on, do not support handling early dates.
