Help with Adobe DE please

Hi

I just downloaded Adobe DE and a sample book to try on my 505, download went ok and it activated, download sample book is ok and I can read it on my computer, but I have no idea how to get it onto my 505.

Please could you let me know how to transfer the PDF to my Sony.

In the DE software you should see your 506 as an icon on the left hand side when it is plugged in to your PC.
Simply drag and drop the file from the "big" window pane on to the ereader icon.

Thanks, ok so im not seeing the 505. Any ideas how I get it to show?

Make sure you installed the latest eBook Library.

PDS, check to make sure all three pieces of software and firmware are updated. No, I don't think you're an idiot. I only know that I downloaded and installed all three updates but then it didn't work and I eventually discovered that the firmware update did not actually install on the Reader for some reason and had to repeat it.

- On your Reader, go to Settings and then About. The current version of the firmware for the 505 is 1.1.00.18040.

- In eBook Library and with your 505 connected via USB click Help and then Check for Updates. The current version of eBook Library is 2.2.00.18100.

- In Adobe DE, click Library and then About Adobe Digital Editions. The current version is 1.5.791.

Hi, thanks for your help. I did have the uptodate firmware, but my ebook library needed updating.
