Firmware 4.2.8432 Dictionaries
If you've previously installed custom hyphenation dictionaries and/or custom spellchecker dictionaries, don't forget that after installing firmware 4.2.8432 to reinstall.

My way of doing it is as follows.

1. Customize the patches
2. Install the firmware
3. Install the patches
4. Install the hyphenation dictionary
5. Read my book

Are the supplied 4.2.x dictionaries improved over the 3.x dictionaries?

Not the hyphenation dictionaries. They are the same ones with the poor settings. Right/left settings of 5 means you miss many hyphens you should have and you will get gaps. The English hyphenation dictionary I use has a left/right setting of 2. That works so much better.

There are English, French, and Hungarian at https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=252405

As for the spell check dictionaries, I would think they are the same.
