Kindle Gen 8 File Transfer
My old kindle 5 died and I got a new Gen 8. I downloaded the latest Calibre to upload my library to the new device and it won't connect. I have also manually copied files to the kindle and Calibre still doesn't see the device and kindle doesn't show the manually downloaded files. Is the new Kindle Gen 8 and Calibre incompatible? Did Kindle screw things up where I need to send it back?

Works fine as far as I know -- try resetting your kindle, and see https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq...ted-by-calibre
