Text to Speech plugin on linux?
Hello everybody. I'm wondering if a text to speech plugin exists for Calibre Linux (on Ubuntu desktop OS). I'd love to listen to the text while I work rather than sit and read. Thanks

Yeah I wish the calibre e book reader software supported SAPI (MS speech API for Windows).

The next best thing is Freda, an ebook reader with TTS for Win 10, which links to Calibre.
