Duplicate pages

Although it doesn't happen often, sometimes—like today—I'll copy a book from my Kindle Desktop software into Calibre, and the Calibre copy will have one (or many) duplicate pages.

The duplicate pages only show up in Calibre. When opened with the Kindle Desktop software, the book renders normally.

Might one of you be able to shed light on this? Or suggest a fix?

Hard to say without the book file to look at.

I've never used Calibre's editing features, so forgive me for flying by the seat of my pants. I let Calibre run a check of the book, and took a screenshot of the results:

I realize that eBook pages don't actually "duplicate." I should have said that clicking to the next page reloads the current page, sometimes slightly repositioned on the screen. Glancing quickly over this screenshot, do you see any culprits?

At this point, I'm merely curious, so no need to go into detail! I'll live with the book as it is, since my creaky old brain isn't up to editing.

P.S. On the off-chance that the first download was corrupt, I downloaded the book from Amazon a second time. No difference.

at a glance, your stylesheet is not valid

RGB needs 3 numeric values. Yours has the first one missing

This is a reference book, and since it's not one I'm likely to use often, I think I may leave it alone.......and the devil take the hindmost!
