Getting AZW3 files into Amazon Cloud

Is there any way to get a non-Amazon purchased AZW3 file/book into the Amazon cloud for syncing across my devices? I know I can do that with a mobi file by using the Send to Kindle App or emailing it to a Kindle. It will them show up in my "Docs" portion of my content on Amazon.

I can get the AZW3 file onto a Kindle device (Voyager) by using a USB transfer, but is there a way to get it up into the cloud?

Thanks!

Someone else will need to confirm, but if IIRC sending a "dual mobi" that contains both Mobi & AZW3 will work.

I don't think I want to send a dual mobi, because it seems that does not allow a cover for the book to be seen. I understand that the AZW3 format is the newest mobi like format, and that it cannot be sent via email. But I am wondering if there is any way to get a AZW3 file from a kindle (after USB transfer) to the cloud.

Sorry, as far as I know, dual-mobi is the only way.
