Trying to Convert Manga from Epub to Mobi

Hey guys,
i have a couple of mangas from kobo that i want to add to my kindle library.
I have already got rid of the drm and converted it to mobi. But when i open it the format is totally messed up. it doesnt have the original manga dimension but rather more of an A4 size with the pages only making up for half of the page.

how can i change it so that it will convert the epub in the original format.

I'm guessing your epubs are fixed layout books. calibre does not support those. Your best bet is to unzip the epub (use the calibre unpack book tool for this if you want). Extract all the images, zip them up into a cbz file and convert that.

Thanks for the tip, but i still don't get it working. I've extracted the images zipped it and renamed it .cbz then converted it to mobi.

Now when I open it it looks pretty similar to the first time, exfept that i now have two pages of the manga on one big page.

How does the cbz look in a native cbz viewer - e.g. HoneyView or Comical.
