Hi,

Am looking to buy an ebook viewer, am located in the UK.

Not 100% on any particular model yet, so am open to offers.

Regards,
Simon

Jon,

Thanks for the reply, I'm *currently* looking second hand, don't really fancy spending £200 on an ebook reader! Especially when I've read about a lot of americans managing prices less than this in dollars!

Hi there,

current cheap options in the UK are as follows:

WHSmith are selling the Cybook Gen3 for £149 (eink device).

Other option would be to get an ebookwise 1150 (LCD device) through ebay.com (America) for about $125 + $25 shipping (= £85). There's a seller there who will export to the UK (pm me if you want more details). Some small additional costs for a V adapter, and possibly $15 to get the Librarian software.

I've looked on ebay.co.uk several times and could not find any 2nd hand devices.

Thanks for the replies, I managed to get a StarEBook reader for under £100, and as the hardware (and now firmware ) are the same as the Gen3, I'm happy
