epub to azw3 and mobi conversion not recognised by Kindle
Conversion of epub format from gutenberg library's Robbery Under Arms by Rolf Boldrewood converts okay, i.e. is readable in Calibre, but neither format is recognised by the Kindle 4.1.3 when trying to download from Calibre wirelessly ["Web Browser cannot download this type of file. Only files with the extension .AZW, .PRC, .MOBI or .TXT can be downloaded to your Kindle."]. The same title in mobi format from gutenberg does download from Calibre okay wirelessly.
Attached are the original epub file, the azw file and the conversion output file. |

That's a limitation of the browser on the kindle -- nothing calibre can do about it. You can workaround it by converting to mobi in calibre with dual mobi's enabled so that the mobi file contain both mobi and azw3.
