Aura One: ambient light sensor issues
Really liking my Kobo Aura One so far, however, the ambient light sensor is not working right.

Every couple of seconds it would automatically increase the frontlight brightness by a few steps, then a few seconds later it would slowly decrease again, then it repeats. This is very distracting.

Anyone had this problem? Any ideas?

Known issue. Hopefully will be fixed in a future firmware update.

That's good to know it's probably not hardware problem.

By the way, how are you dealing with this? Did you disable the auto adjustment or just learned to live with it (because this feature is theoretically quite nice)?

I basically never change my light level anyway, so after I checked it out I just turned it off.

I notice it happening, but it only does it once after about 5 minutes. I just figured it was re-calibrating for the new level of ambient light.
