And the question is? The latest Aura One update fixes this problem so I guess the next for the GloHD will fix this as well

Kobo do not announce when firmware updates are to be released. I was expecting one during October for most devices, but they have been trying to fix issues with the Aura ONE, so have not made that release. Hopefully it will appear before the end of the year.
But, if you need this fix, you can safely install the 4.1 firmware package for the Aura ONE on your Glo HD. |

I updated to 4.1.7729 but this issue is not solved on my Glo HD
(I only copy KoboRoot.tgz to .kobo folder then update) Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk Last edited by Myebook; 10-30-2016 at 06:40 AM. |

The update might need the current WIFi details to be cleared. Unfortunately, these are on the root partition and you need to sign-out on the device to clear them. Of course, if this is a WiFi network under your control, you could just unhide the SSID. If you did this for security reasons, then there is no real benefit. |

I am not sure what the question exactly is about. But the answer is yes in any case. My uncertainty comes from the fact that there are several possibilities to get the update files on your device. 1) nickel downloads the update package, 2) KSM downloads the update package, 3) you copy the update files to the device. In any case, once KoboRoot.tgz (and maybe some other stuff) is available in .kobo, there will appear a menu entry "handle update" on the KSM home screen. Select it, and then select "install partial update" (do not select "install update", or you will lose KSM).

Try rebooting your WiFi router (unplug power, wait 30 seconds, then replug power) and try again.

What version of f/w does your device say it's running?
