waveform issues.. help?

So... after lots of searching. I think the problem with my kindle (3g) is a waveform. Basically images are all 'faded' and don't show up well. When it flashes to a new screen, the image looks perfect, but when the screen is static it looses some those blacks and the images looks bad..

I haven't replaced the screen or anything. It just happened... Not sure why.

Any fix?

odd opened it up (because i saw something black where the power led was).
There was a loose screw rolling around inside...

no idea where it should go

edit: actually found 2 loose screws...

So I did a Enable Diag to see what my video test was and my ID is
???_???_60 60 60 60 60 60 60 60 60 6... and i don't know how far it continues at it ends off the screen I believe

And it says waveform not correct...

You should post this query in the Kindle Developer's Corner for help. AFAIK its not an easy thing to fix. Here's a thread discussing updating the eink waveform from the developers forum:

Yeah I read the last page and it seems like some others have the same issue. But cannot be fixed =/
