PRS-950 Sony eReader PRS-950 cant use browser

When I try to connect to a new router i get a message that says the router requires a password to connect. it says to go to Apps and select the browser to enter the password.

When I do that a message appears about "Loading Page" then the message about the Sony Store being closed the kicks out. I get the same msg for Purchased Content and Google Books.

When I look at the Wi-Fi Network Settings it show Invalid Configuration for that deice.

Pretty much any thing I try to do involving the network gets the Sony Store closed msg.

Trying to connect so I can download more books.

Dont want to have to by a new Reader.

Have you tried using your computer to upgrade the software so it's updated to the Kobo store?

What is odd is that if I connect the reader to PC with the USB cable the reader goes to the charging screen and wont let me look at anything else.

I add a book purchased from KOBO into a collection and move the collection to the reader but no book show up.

Sometimes Sonys are a bit picky but a full on device shutdown and then a reboot solves the issue. Have you tried that?

Yes, tried that even did a reset. It just will not bring up the browser or anything network related.
