Handling several wordlists.
Hi!
I'm thinking about buying a second wordlist, this time a Spanish -> English dictionary, however I thought it could be best to see if (> 1) wordlists play well on the Cybook Gen 3. |

Yes, you can certainly use multiple dictionaries on the Gen3.

Will the Cybook do a lookup in each dictionary and let me select which match to show?

If you get multiple matches - either in the same dictionary, or different ones - you get a "search results" page showing all the matches, and you can select each one in turn.

Not so nice really since it is not possible to see from which dictionary the alternative is from.

![]() That's my pet peeve but... What I deduced from extensive use of two dictionaries simulataneously is that you get words listed in order of dictionary installation. Anyone else noticed this? Btw, I have Chambers (thanks Harry) and Concise Oxford. DrS |

Yes, but if the dictionary gives 5 alternatives and the lexicon give 4 alternative it is hard to know which is the first lexicon entry.

Oh, I assumed it would say from which each hit was.

No, it just lists them. It still works well, IMHO.
