Manage authors' names

Hi all,

First of all, i am sorry for my bad level in English.

I would like to know if there was a solution to modify the value "invert" regarding the algorithm of sorting (sort ?) by author.
Is it possible to remove the space between the first name and the second name ?
For example : Asimov, Isaac --> Asimov,Isaac

I did not find the information on the web site (I maybe missed it).

Any ideas ?

@KhorsKan - the Quality Check has various checks and tweaks for Author names in its Check metadata options.

It may do what you want.

Unfortunately, i just tested this plugin (very good) but it does not offer this kind of very fine adjustment :

No option to remove space ...

It's an unusual requirement, so I'm not surprised its not in QC.

Perhaps it can be done via Bulk Metadata Edit->Search & Replace, using a regular expression - find 'comma space' and replace with 'comma'

You can save S&R definitions for later reuse.

I had to do some manipulations to find the right combination but that's ok.

Effectively, the solution is indeed in "Search & Replace" with "regular expression" !
