The Glass Castle by Trisha White Priebe & the Jerry B. Jenkins of "Left Behind" fame (Wikipedia) is the 1st novel in their Thirteen series of tween/YA fantasy which is described as a mashup between Narnia and Wonderland, this installment setting up the premise as a king tries to rid himself of an unwanted potential heir to make way for his new queen's child by getting rid of all the thirteen year-old children in the kingdom who could be a candidate for his mysterious long-vanished firstborn, and the obligatory plucky kids who set up an underground resistance to foil this ill-advised plot, free courtesy of Christian publisher Barbour's Shiloh Run Press imprint.
