Changing text margins (left and right) in flow mode?

Recently I've noticed a lot of the books I'm reading go straight to the edges of my Calibre ebook viewer window (I'm reading on my PC, not any kind of device).

I like to read in flow mode, as opposed to paged mode, but I can't seem to figure out how to set left and right margins to be a little bigger. Everything I've tried so far has done nothing.

I can clearly see an option for doing it in paged mode, so there has to be a way in flow mode too, right? Please help.

Use something like

body { margin-left: 40px !important; margin-right: 40px !important; }

in the User stylesheet section of the preferences.

Thank you so much! I tried many variation of that exact thing, but the "important" seems to be what did it. Thanks again =)

When does !important not mean this is unimportant, when it's used in CSS
