Tags separated by semi-colons

I was using Leafmarks as my online booksite and when it shut down the other month, I was able to download my data as a CSV file. Imported all the book data with the List plugin into calibre.

My problem is that all my tags from Leafmarks are separated by semicolons instead of comma's, so I have just one long tag for each book, ie:
2016;sff;favorite;ultra-violence
when I want multiple tags like this:
2016, sff, favorite, ultra-violence

Is there an easy way to solve this? I've got about 2700 book entries to edit and it would be nice if there was a bulk way to separate them. Thanks for any help or info.

Search and Replace (bulk mode metadata)
Might take multiple passes (it walks to next semicolon)
S: (.+?)\;(.+?)
R: \1, \2

@theducks: you can replace semicolon with comma in one go. As long as the "split result" checkbox stays checked SR will regenerate the tags after replacing all the semicolons.

I had previously split a colon separated Author list in the details to my custom author-like folder ( : > & ) with wonderful ease

Far Right of Destination field

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?

I highlight the books I want to edit the tags.
I left/right/whatever click and select "edit metadata in bulk"
I then go over to the Search and Replace tab.
I select "tags" in the search field box
I enter ; in the Search For box
I enter , in the replace with box

I don't see a destination box or the split results anywhere.

Ok, I think I figured it out.
Next to the Search Field is a Search Mode. I had it toggled to "character match". When I toggled it to "regular expressions", Destination field and the split option showed up.

Has everyone forgotten the Tag Mapper? You can use that to have a rule to split any tag containing a semi-colon. It will run across all the tags when you save the rules.
