Moved to New Computer - Library issues.

Hello,
We have three kindles in the house. Touch - Kindle classic - and paperwhite 2014

I need help with the paperwhite. I just re-installed OSX El Cap, and moved my three libraries over to the new drive. The Touch and classic libraries are fine.
I plugged in the paperwhite this eve and when I selected it's corresponding library, the book list was there but I was unable to do anything. Checked books did not match up with what is on the kindle but the library was there and visable. Ive been using Calibre for over 4 years now with no issues. Is there a way to reset and start all over with this device? Or how should I proceed? Computer showed that the Kindle was mounted (usb) . When I added books, it showed up as checked but they are not on the device. Hmmm. Thank You.

I'm trying to work out what your saying you've done.

1) Are you saying Calibre has been populated by the books from your three kindles? I.e you dragged them from Calibre somehow into the library.

2) Or did you have a pre populated Calibre and the books on your Paperwhite aren't showing as ticked when they are on the device?

I can't imagine how you could have done number 1 tbh.

Number 2 happens when the books on your kindle are downloaded from the Amazon cloud but when you loaded them in Calibre the name has been altered in some way. I don't use Calibre with the kindle but when I have occasionally connected it the tick marks never match.

Either way I think a mod should move this thread to the Calibre devices forum as you need help from the Calibre people.

Make sure that you have selected "Downloaded" and "all items" on the device.
