Kindle for iOS 5.0 released with Page Flip

From their website:

Quote:
About the Latest Version of Kindle for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch

The latest version (5.0) provides the following feature updates and improvements:

Page Flip — A new way to skim other pages or chapters, and jump back and forth within a select Kindle book without losing your current place. As you explore your book, Page Flip saves the latest page you were reading to the side of the screen so you can get back to it anytime. Visit Read Books to learn more about Page Flip.
As usual, I would still prefer some better formatting options that we've been asking to get for all these years rather than this wiz-bang crap they keep giving us.

Agreed. We don't need whiz-bang, we need functionality and basic stuff doesnt cut it (well not for me anyway)

More significant is the Note Export feature. Unfortunately it does not work with Docs.

Page Flip is a welcome thing. It is baffling why so few reading apps let you adjust margins, however.

When you say "Docs," are you referring to side-loaded books? I am able to make notes and highlights in my Send-to-Kindle Docs and export them to an html file.

Oh, you're correct. I've been playing with the Kindle Export Notes, and there it does not give you the option. And the UI is different.
