lost connection to 2 libraries

I have 7 libraries, 5 are correctly appearing in the ribbon, but 2 were lost when I had problems with an update. I am just not seeing them on the ribbon, but the libraries are still there in a specialo folder with all libraries. How can I make them visible in the ribbon so as to change from a library to another?
The version I am using is 2.53 because when updated it I had problems and lost libraries.

Ribbon? Do you mean: Library Icon Pulldown (list)
Those are just 'Quick Switch" links.
Simply recreate them using the Switch/Create: Use existing

Or are you referring to Virtual Library TABS?
Right click The BUTTON 'Virtual Library'
If the definition is still there, it will show at the bottom. Simply click one or more to get the Tabs Back

Sometimes PREFERENCE 'Bumps' happen to select users, during an update. Only the preferences are affected (lost?). Get a fresh download (to be sure), there were no reported issues of this natures

Just a question, since I am using an Italian interface: with "use existing" are you saying to simpli put the name of the library with the indication of the path?

Yes or use the browse button to navigate there

I just did not understand immediately that in the ribbon there cannot be more than 5 libraries plus the active library. If I want the other 2 libraries I have to navigate.

The Last 5 will show

Depends on what value is set in Preferences->Tweaks->Sort the list of libraries alphabetically

The list of libraries in the Copy to Library and Quick Switch menus are
normally sorted by most used. However, if there are more than a certain
number of such libraries, the sorting becomes alphabetic. You can set that
number here. The default is 10 libraries.

No. That initial list of 5 is sorted by most used. The Tweak is for the Quick Switch, I use the same setting of 1 so they show alphabetically.

Ah right, y'all mean the the five in the top level menu, I never use or really see them. I switch libraries via book list context menu Quick Switch, which I navigate via the keyboard.
