Need Help-Can't send via email to kindle

I have tried everything I can think of including disabling AV and all add on security systems. Nothing seems to work. I waited through the last three updates to Calibre and am now on version 2.59 and still getting the same results :

Not sure what it means by 'An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions'. If this is something to do with the firewall I would think disabling the firewall would allow it to work (it doesn't). Is there some place special that the 'socket' must be enabled? Any help would be appreciated as I cannot get my books to my Kindle as it stands without a hardwire between the pc and kindle.

I read your reply to my query and went to the manual. Couple things.

1. my email worked before about ver 2.55. Only when I updated did it stop working.
2. I misread the requirement about the formats that Kindle would accept and thought that it HAD to be AWZ3 so I added that but when I read further I saw that format WAS NOT acceptable so I just removed it (same results). Not sure how to edit the formats and had to remove the email address and re-add it to get the AWZ3 off of the formats.
3. I'm using Outlook with a Comcast email account the so Gmail would not be a problem. I do have GMail also but don't use it except to receive email into my inbox (never SEND by gmail).

Hopefully this will give you more insite to my issue because this I a real problem for me not being able to send my books to my Kindle easily as before.

Your error is caused by your security program (antivirus/firewall) blocking calibre. Follow the instructions in that link -- there is no more wisdom on the subject available.
