Conversion - losing TOC

I have recently been having a problem with the TOC not appearing in a converted book. When I convert the book through Calibre and then wirelessly transfer the same book to Calibre Companion, and open with Moon+Reader Pro (which I have been doing for several years now), the book shows as a mobi file in CC, but when I start to read said book using Moon+Reader Pro, it does not show the book name (shows CZ43095RRZZZ, not exactly that combination but something very similar and each book has its own crazy name in Moon+Reader). Is there a way to fix this without having to set up a TOC in each book?

I think this is really a CC question (and I can move this thread, if it is).
Are you talking about the Library contents Index in Moon +

In CC there is a files and folders option to use the Calibre filename (usually set via a Calibre Template)

Table of Contents comes from the book (NCX) for EPUB.

I don't read Mobi with Moon+, so I don't know what Moon does there (I don't think it natively supports Mobi)

There are several Android epub reading apps which claim to support the MOBI format. None of them support MOBI as well as they support EPUB. As far as I'm aware only Amazon have an app which supports MOBI very well.
