Is there a trace within the book saying what tool was used to deDRM it? Or that it was DRMed? Is there any difference between a deDRMed book and one that was never DRMed in the first place?
I'm just curious...

Not sure in general but I know that some deDRMing goes through HTML which an HTML knowledgeable could easily check manually to see if there is any trace.

I don't know what bread crumbs ereader2html may leave behind, since metadata often ends up embedded in HTML.
