Sometimes when I import a book into calibre it comes with a rating. Since this isn't a rating I gave it is there any way to get calibre to ignore such ratings on import (for some mysterious whenever this happens the rating is a 5 star one).
I'm using the calibre 2.5.0 that is packaged in debian. |

You will get a rating if the book you are importing has a rating in its metadata. If you dont want that you can either turn off reading of metadata from the file contents in Preferences->Adding books or blank the rating column for all imported books after importing via the bulk metadata edit dialog.
