is it possible to get web browser to stay on home screen? kobo glo hd
i want to transfer files wirelessley using the web browser and calibre connect share

i hate having to go through the settings , beta features and so on

any tips? advice

The tiles react to what you do. If you open the browser, the tile for it will be added to the home page. But, if you open a few books, they will push the browser off the home page.

As to keeping a particular tile on the home screen, I haven't found a way to do it. The tiles come from a table in the database. There are ways to prevent tiles appearing, but keeping a particular tile on the screen doesn't work.

And, if you then dismiss those book tiles, or use the browser, the browser tile will re-appear.

I've never had that tile disappear just move position but I use it to load my books from Dropbox.
