I have two libraries and would like them to auto-add from different folders. Is this possible?
I don't believe it is as auto-add seems to be global so failing that how about library A auto-adds and library B doesn't? If I can't do that I'll have to turn off auto-add which I really don't want to do. If I do have to turn off auto-add is there a way to make importing from single directory a one-click process? Advance Thanks ps. if there's an existing thread I couldn't find so feel free to point it out. |

@awfki - Autoadd adds to the current library, I suspect that's not going to change any time soon.

You could make use of the command line program calibredb in a batch script, in which you specify the path to the library, it has Add Books options. BR |

I'm comfy with CLI stuff so it looks that'll be the way to go. Thanks |

I copied the structure of my original library so it brought the custom columns over (and I didn't remember that till just now).

Use the add books from single directory, multiple books per folder -- granted its three clicks instead of one -- but other than that, it will work just like auto add.
