Calibre update issue
 For three weeks now I am unable to update Calibre, keep getting error 2503 followed by error 2502. I using Windows 10 and have not a had a problem until now. Upgraded windows from 8.1 to 10 on August 2015.

This is a problem with Windows installer. The following should fix it:
1. Press Windows key + R to display the "run program" box. 2. Type "msiexec /unreg", and then press ENTER. 3. Press Windows key + R again. 4. Type "msiexec /regserver", and then press ENTER. Try running the installer again. It should now work. |

@gtrobert - actually, it's a Windows issue.
If HarryT's solution doesn't fix it, then search this subforum for 2503 you'll find a couple posts with links to relevant pages. And you find a lot more if you search the web. BR Last edited by BetterRed; 04-05-2016 at 05:38 PM. |
