how to manage iBooks collection in Calibre
Hi,
I use iBooks as my eBook reader on iMac, iPad and iPhone. In iBooks you can organize books in collections which you can freely create within iBooks. There are some iBooks standard collections like "All books" for example but you can create additional ones. Is there a way to manage this collections within Calibre? I would like to edit this collection within the Calibre metadata manager so that when I export books from Calibre to my iMac and drag drop them to iBooks the books will be inserted in the correct collections within iBooks. Thanks for your support. afrikapit |

No.
calibre can create collections on devices which make their collections database available, e.g. Sony/Kobo devices. As well as Kindles if the Kindle is jailbroken, via third-party collections management hacks that interface with calibre. But iBooks is both closed and unhacked. |
