Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/ePub) Westward the Dream [Xtian 1860s Family Saga w/Romance]

Westward the Dream by Judith Pella & Tracie Peterson is the 1st novel in their Ribbons West series of western historical family saga novels with f/m romantic elements set in 19th century US, starring a brother and sister fleeing the Civil War for greater opportunities in California, alongside an Irish immigrant, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker's Bethany House imprint.

This is apparently a sequel to co-author Pella's solo previous series Ribbons of Steel, from which we've previously received as a freebie the 1st-in-series novel Distant Dreams, which was set a generation earlier starring the parents, amidst the building of the railroads.

Currently free, apparently on a long-term basis as one of Baker's recent rotation of their introductory 1st-in-series offers @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Kobo & iTunes & Google Play (all available to Canadians), ChristianBook (ADE-DRM ePub available worldwide).

Description
As the U.S. descends into the Civil War, photographer Brenton Baldwin travels west with his sister Jordana, taking pictures of the developing lands and in search of their sister. Along for the trip is young Caitlan O'Connor, who has just arrived from Ireland. Will they make it to California to find their family despite the danger that looms ahead? And can early romance grow into love in the face of trials and tragedy?
