What's with the DRM error messages?
I've been using Calibre happily for several years now but since a new computer, all legitimate borrowed library books are generating a "This book is DRMed" error message. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Calibre.

Calibre doesn't come with DRM breaking built in. If you want to remove DRM, you have to go to Apprentice Alf's blog to find the plug-ins you can add to your Calibre set up.

But it doesn't need to break DRM. The books in question are still within the loan period. And it used to work without any issue.

calibre does not support DRMed books, and it is illegal and immoral to remove the DRM on library books (which don't belong to you).
You will simply have to deal with it. Use Adobe Digital Editions to copy library books to your Kobo. |
