Kobo Glo not turning on properly
For some time my kobo glo have been acting strange.

Sometimes i cannot turn it on using the slider. I have to use the reset button or plug it in a computer. After that i can use the turn on/off slider normally. Also, both the reset/plug do not always work. Sometimes one work, but not the other. Strange.

I tried factory reseting using the kobo windows app and it said to have instaled the firmware again, i tried formating various times.

The battery is holding out, acording to the battery monitor.

I dont know what to do now. Any tips?

I have a similar issue with my Kobo Glo slider (caused by opening the device). What I do is just use a case that wakes/sleeps the Kobo. Never need to use the slider.

The idea is to never power off your device, and use a sleep cover to put the device to sleep and wake it up. Are you saying that your sleep cover does not work?

What did you actually do? For a factory reset, you have to do it on the device. Then, you do the setup, either over WiFi or using the Kobo desktop application.

My sleep cover does not work.

I factory reseted my device, did the setup using a pc, used a firmware i downloaded from this forum to update the device (it was already update, but it instaled anyway). I did those 2/3 times.

I use the top slider to wake it up because sometimes i forget my cover or it wont wake up from the cover.
