Second-hand e-ink reader with android from Eu?
Hello!
I would like to ask if anyone knows a e-ink reader that its possible to find for 90 euros or less from second-hands ? What I'm look for is reader with android that runs smoothly because I want to replace my pc with it (im using it for reading news, mail and stuff like that), it would be a big help if anyone would recomment a e-reader like this, because after looking at monitor for 10 minutes or more my eyes hurts. Sorry for my bad english, Thanks |

You will find that e-Ink Readers are not going to be good for replacing your computer. They just don't work that well. They are not like a tablet.
I suggest you go see an optometrist to find out what might be wrong with your eyes. |

Neru,
Have you tried adjusting the light settings on your computer? I keep mine very dark. Or are you like my friend and even the lowest settings hurt her eyes because she had to sit so close. Other idea, go into accessibility on your control panel and have the computer read you the pages. |

To JSWolf: sorry, I didnt explain myself. What i mean by replacing pc is that I use it just to surf the web and common things like that (I used pc just as reference for what I want to do with reader ).
Before buying ppw2 I though that it would be enough to open webpages but it seems that its not possible even with alternative browser- this is why I'm asking here in forum for recommendation. To Cinisajoy: I'm always keeping my light settings low and using dimmer but it's not the issue here, it's just that I dont want my eyes to get eyes worse. Thanks for answers. |

Web browsing on eink is not an enjoyable experience. Web pages generally need a lot of scrolling and that doesn't work well on eink. I speak from many years of experience.

To JSWolf: my bad, i should've used a tablet as reference, anyway thanks now I will know.
To Rizla: Thank You for recommendation. To HarryT: Thank You, I will have that in mind to not to expect too much out of reader. |

It works fine for websites that are predominantly text, but you wouldn't want to use an eInk device for a complex website like, say, the Amazon site. It wouldn't work at all well.
